Our Story
Elevate Dormlife
The Suite Life is the newest design concept from renown Oklahoma interior designer Nicole Rickey. When her eldest daughter started setting her sights for college, they began touring campuses. Nicole had fond memories of her college life and was excited about her daughter having a great experience as well. When they began looking at dorm rooms, hopes dimmed. Even though the dorm rooms had a fresh coat of paint, they felt cold, lonely, and sad. Nicole's love of interior design, combined with the desire to help create professionally design spaces for young adults, led her to launching The Suite Life and transforming dorm rooms into designer dreams...and very happy places.
When I began researching dorm companies, I found them to have "styles" that look very basic, juvenile, or very repetitive. As a successful professional interior designer, I knew I could help college students recreate ANY design in their space. And, it's not just about choosing a color theme! All the items in my curated collections work together to create a very specific, tailored style — from Modern to Boho or Feminine to Preppy and anything in between. They are key pieces chosen to last from college career into adulthood and move in with you to your first home.
